Publications

An occasional botanical journal published by the SAN Herbarium, Forest Research Centre (FRC), dedicated to plant systematics, morphology, and natural history. First issued in 1992, the journal has produced multiple volumes over the years and continues to serve as an important platform for the publication of new species descriptions, taxonomic revisions and floristic studies.

Several books have been produced by the Sabah Forestry Department through the SAN Herbarium and the Forest Research Centre. These compact yet impactful books are intended for a broad audience, presenting knowledge of Sabah’s rich and remarkable biodiversity in an engaging and accessible manner.
